In April and May 2015 Past APS President Georgia Jones, DTM decided to fulfill a long time ambition. Georgia took a very, very long walk, traveling the "Camino Frances." Georgia walked 600 miles through parts of France and Northern Spain. Georgia has since given speeches on the experience. |

Brian Robinson, ACS/CL won the 2009 District 46 Humorous Speech competition with his speech "How to Meet Women on The Subway." His recently published book on the subject was featured on Fox News NY and in The New York Post. |

Marcia Berry, DTM, Immediate Past APS President and District 46 Division Governor of the Year (2013-2014), wrote an article on Marc Williams that was featured on the District 46 website. In 2014 Marc became the District 46 International Speech Champion and was a finalist in the World Championship of Public Speaking.

Gouri Seetharam, DTM, APS past President and co-founder, is mentioned (along with APS) on page 26 of the October 2014 issue of Toastmaster magazine. Gouri conducted research, interviews, and gave speeches on E.J. Burgay, the first woman to win the World Championship of Public Speaking.
